David "Ricky" McDavid

​David "Ricky" McDavid brings decades of experience across multiple practice areas, including real estate, civil litigation, personal injury, collections, foreclosures, business entities, and local government representation. As head of our Business Entities and Land Use & Zoning departments, Ricky offers expert guidance in navigating complex transactions, zoning issues, and business formation.

A graduate of Southern University Law Center, Ricky serves as the school board attorney, has recovered large settlements for his personal injury clients, and has a strong track record of favorable outcomes in his civil litigation cases. Ricky also has extensive experience in business formation and regulatory procedures of local  planning and zoning boards. ​

Outside of his professional achievements, Ricky is a devoted husband and father of two sons. His family is his greatest inspiration, and he enjoys spending quality time with them whenever possible. Ricky is also an avid fan of LSU sports and loves to follow the Tigers. When he's not in the courtroom or with his family, you can often find him outdoors hunting.
